How do I connect my bank account?

BalanceUp uses Plaid to securely connect your financial accounts. Simply tap "Add Account" in the app, search for your bank, and follow the secure authentication process. Your banking credentials are never stored on our servers.

What if I can't connect my bank?

If you're having trouble connecting your bank, try these steps: 1) Ensure your bank supports Plaid, 2) Check that your login credentials are correct, 3) Try connecting from a different network. If issues persist, contact us at support@balanceupapp.com.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. For iOS: Settings → App Store → Subscriptions. For Android: Google Play Store → Subscriptions. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Is my financial data secure?

Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption (TLS 1.2+ and AES-256) to protect your data. Your banking credentials are never stored on our servers, and all data transmission is secured through Plaid's infrastructure. Read our Security Policy for details.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers. Note that this action cannot be undone. Contact support@balanceupapp.com if you need assistance.

When will Android be available?

Android development begins December 2025. We're working hard to bring BalanceUp to Android users while maintaining the same high quality and security standards. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when Android launches.

How accurate are the AI insights?

Our AI insights are based on your spending patterns and financial data. While they provide valuable guidance, they are for informational purposes only and should not be considered as professional financial advice. Always consult with qualified professionals for major financial decisions.
